Red Bull BC One National Finals (May 2019)

In May 2019, BRED2BURN founder BoxWon competed in the Red Bull BC One National Finals, the final qualifier for the world’s premier 1v1 Breaking competition. While he exited in the second round, his performance and participation in the historic Red Bull Allstars vs USA battle (which has nearly 1 million views on YouTube!) cemented his reputation as an international force and contender.

BRED2BURN: Europe Tour – Rotterdam (Jan 2019)
During Volume One of BRED2BURN: Europe, a self-managed tour spanning 6 countries and 13 cities, BoxWon stopped at Hip Hop Huis in Rotterdam, NL to teach a 90-minute workshop. Here’s a glimpse of the knowledge, movement, and culture shared during that unforgettable session.

NBC 1st Look – Breaking & Leadership (Oct 2023)

In October 2023, BoxWon was featured on NBC’s 1st Look, highlighting his contributions to Breaking’s rise as an Olympic sport, showcasing his newly completed mural, and sharing the leadership work he does with Hip Hop Fundamentals.

NBC 1st Look – Breaking’s Olympic Debut (July 2024)

Shortly before Breaking made its Olympic debut, NBC’s 1st Look sought out BoxWon for national coverage. He shared insights on the art form, Team USA’s athletes, and the journey of Breaking to the Olympic stage.

Red Bull BC One Boston Cypher (Sept 2018)

BRED2BURN founder BoxWon stepped onto the floor at the Red Bull BC One Boston Cypher, a qualifier for the world’s premier 1v1 breaking competition. Battling through a stacked 16-bracket lineup, he made it to the Semi-Finals and became one of the night’s standout crowd favorites.

The Breakoff – John Hopkins University (Sept 29, 2023)

On September 29th, BoxWon & Rome One competed in The Breakoff, Johns Hopkins University’s annual 2v2 competition. In their first battle together, they fought through the rounds and claimed first place, earning the championship title. Check out the highlights of their path to victory!

Breakin’ The Ballot – Philadelphia (Oct 6, 2018)

On October 6th, 2018, BRED2BURN and Illadelph Phlave, in partnership with the 18th Ward Democrats of Philadelphia, hosted Breakin’ The Ballot—a community street fair focused on voter registration and education. The day included remarks from council members Darrell L. Clarke, Maria D. Quinones-Sanchez, and Mark Squilla, along with a lecture-demonstration performance from BRED2BURN.

Flint & Detroit Workshops (Dec 2018)
